Help me find the original exterior color of my car!

It is a 1989 lx Hatch. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me find out the original exterior color of the car. I have done lots of searching but havent been able to find out anything.

is the car a different color? there may be a paint code sticker located somewhere in the interior? glovebox?

Color won't be in the VIN, it's on the door tag. If you don't have a door tag, I don't know what to tell you, except to look under seams under the hood and other places to see if you can find the original color. Most repaints don't completely eliminate the factory color.

+1. You can also pull up the carpet in the hatch area and take a look in the spare tire well.
