Welcome to SVTPerformance. Yeah, that's definitely a cool Ranger. How long have you owned it?

I've had it since 2017. After my employer shut down operations, I had a severance package to spend so I built the truck I wanted when I was 17. My mother gave me a 1986 model around 1996, that was identical in every way to this one. I couldn't locate it after selling it decades ago :( so I found this Ranger which was pretty clean. Definitely a 10 footer since it was a college kid's automotive class project. He put some filler in places where filler shouldn't have been used. This truck will be all steel when I'm done with it.

I've got a different bed to go on it with one NOS bedside, a NOS tailgate, two new repop fenders, two beautiful rust-free doors with wing-windows etc. It'll get re-shot in the same red. Possibly with some Boss-ish striping.

Any plans on tinting the windows? I think at least some tint on the rear and sides would look cool.

That longbed is gorgeous!

The truck weighs just shy of 3400lbs full of fuel with me in it and a spare tire in the bed. At least that's what the local grain elevator scale said when I drove on it after they closed. I assume it was reading in lbs.

I'll tint the windows after painting it and getting some new glass.
