I have a question, we wash our black Kenne Bell GT alot and got caught in the rain once. It has a Terminator hood, alternator is directly under one of the vents. Would it 'hurt' anything to make plexiglass covers to mount with the Fore vents? I dont think it will kill performance or make it run hot, just wanted to double check though.

Aren't the vents made at a certain angle or something to where if water runs down it won't hit anything important under the hood???..... Or is that just on the 03/04 cobras???

Its a 2002 GT with the 4.6 2 valve motor. I've read that the vents are ok with the Cobra engine but on my setup the alternator is directly under the vent. I have an intercooled 2.1 KB.

Yes, on a Terminator that water falls in front of the alternator.
