Horrible shipping time.

    Why did my order take almost 2 weeks to ship? Got a e-mail stating it would ship on the 9th so I replied to the e-mail because I was pissed. Shortly after I got a e-mail stating it was shipped. Seriously why did it take so long? Only took UPR 1 day to ship a product that I ordered the same day! Order number 10887006.

    AM is actually a great company and has exceptional customer service.

    I would venture to guess you purchased a product that they do not hold on site...just a hunch. Out of curiosity, what did you buy through them?

    @AMAlexLazarus may be able to shed some light on it though.

    Wasn't something on site and that's why I'm pissed too. Comp engineering torque box plates. They shipped out of CT and I'm in MA. A e-mail stating there would be a delay would have been fine. Not a week and 1/2 later stating it was about to be sent in like 5 more days.

    I guess I don't understand why that would piss you off. I'm sure on their website somewhere it says 7-10 business day shipping on products not held in house...OR something of the sort.

    Its not AM fault that Comp engineering didn't have the item readily available. Comp engineering may not build many, or any at all, prior to an order.

    I paid AM so yes it is their fault. And damn near 2 weeks before being told it's shipping in a few more days is bullshit. They are not custom one off units.

    First of all, i just want to apologize for the delay, I know just how it feels to have to wait longer than expected for a product, it sucks!

    Unfortunately, we do not house these in our warehouse and we reached out to the vendor as soon as you placed the order.

    We also asked them for an update on more than one occasion once we noticed it didn't ship but didn't get an update until it actually shipped.

    I see the item was delivered to you on Monday, so I'm glad you got it! That being said, I'm sorry that it took so long.

    I went ahead and placed a store credit for the full amount of the order on your account for the trouble.

    Will, I absolutely love it. So much so, that I don't have any regrets about choosing it over the '17 Camaro SS that I had originally planned on buying. No comparison, obviously. Very different vehicles, but whereas there would be times when I couldn't/wouldn't drive the Camaro (and I'd be paranoid about where to park it), my Edge Sport I can drive every day, all conditions. And, it's fun to drive. It's good looking. Very nice interior. Nice power that's surprised more than a few folks on the road. Excellent ride quality. Excellent (new) Sync system. Easy to use controls. Plenty of interior space and cargo space. I absolutely do not have a single complaint. I LOVE IT!

    To the OP, I can understand being upset but it looks like AM took care of you in the end. I find it ironic you didn't say thank you or not even respond after AM stated you have a full credit on your account.

    AMWill- awesome of you guys to take care of a customer in the end. When I order can you mess mine up also? ;)
