and noticed he is running an open conical air intake. How is it not increasing the IAT2 / manifold charge temperature? With my sealed airbox, my SHO EcoBoost IAT2 reaches about 90F over ambient at the dragstrip (about 60F over ambient on the street).
Or does it not matter with a turbocharger to ingest hot air from under the hood?
