Last night was the first of 4 Hot Danville Nights car shows. They are every other Thurs night on Hartz Ave in Danville, exit El Cerro from Hwy 680, go West, L on Danville Blvd. (T interstection) & look for parking.
Hartz is closed to traffic around 3pm until 9pm, and pre-1960 cars & rods park in the tree- and restaurant-lined street. Live bands at each end, food & t-shirt vendors, etc.
Lots of neat cars to check out, and lots of other eye-candy, too!;-)
If you own a pre-1960 vehicle, cost is $10 to park in the fenced-off area, and you get a dash plaque. You can also park nearby (if you get there early and find space!) for free.
