How concerned should I be with what I found in my valley?

So I pulled off my intake today as part of my tear down and wanted to get view of my valves.
I found a bit of oil pooled in the valley that was concerning.
The other thing I found was some blobs in the casting that scared me. I thought were JB weld and was furious because when I pushed on them, some bubbling and oil pushed out.
So naturally I flaked off whatever it was thinking it was covering a crack and seemed like a chunk of imperfection in the casting.

So now I am severely confused where oil could come from in the valley without any sign other than those spots.
Could it be possible I have cracks some how in my valley? Or any other explanation?

It looks to me like the valley was painted before assembly and it bubbled up. Was there oil underneath the bubbles?
It was. It’s a create motor from Ford
The problem is it wasn’t paint that flaked off. It was chunks of iron.
Van responded to me on FB and said maybe it could be the return line from the blower to the lower that leaked the oil out.
I thought that was a vaccum line, but I’m praying that is what it is.

otherwise, yes when I pushed on those bubbles areas bubbles came out. So oil was under it.
I am likely overthinking this, but at this point of loss, I don’t think there is overthinking. Lol

Completely clean and bone dry.
No indication of anything dripping from above and running down it.
I looked at that return line today and looks fine. I didnt pressure test it, but it has like a sheath over it either to protect from punctures or heat maybe?

Either way, nothing I have taken off would dictate anything to throw any flags, but perplexed as to why there was a decent puddle in there.
Was wondering why there was a wet spot on my pass side header on one of the primaries. My guess is some of that oil came out the back and ran down.
