Please post how many times you boosted down the 1/4 mile and what has broken in the process.

Like to see how the motors, clutches, half shafts are holding up.

I've never been to the track with my Snake

Probably 50-60 over the last year since I got the car.
Clutch replaced due to stupidity. Everything else perfect!

6 times, all hotlapped, and she kept on going strong. The 6th run was the best of the day too.

32 runs down the 1320. Got the clicking noise from the rear and Ford is replacing the halfshafts once the parts get in. Don't know if its related but they are being replaced.

Please keep us posted about the clicking. my clicking is right under the shifter so I think it's the tranny or drive shaft.

150+ passes
Snapped a halfshaft when the car was 8 months old. Replaced with upgraded ones.
Replaced clutch because it slipping. Clutch was actually worn very little (at the one year mark), but it couldn't hold the power.

16 passes, and no problems, except my driving. I do granny shift, I haven't been brave enough to power shift yet, I need more practice.

Had my clutch replaced too... not my fault though. Bad throw out bearing. The pressure plate was kinda abused though. Ram clutch is much better, 110 pounds of pressure though. I think stock is 80. Havent been to the track with all my mods still waiting to get it back. I should hook up decent with the suspension work though. Even Stock rear end and clutch is bound to go sooner or later if you beat it up alot.

Your tellin me I just can't win. But to look on the bright side it was the 4th run in a row I was trying a bunch of different tunes that day. It's close but not as close as Jaysvt's 12.002:lol:  We will get it once the temps drop into the 70's or I let my car cool down:idea:

DOHC, I thought you were going to the track? Wassup?

-----------------

I have 108 slips but the car's now on track probation (too fast). Nothing has ever broken even when it had wheel hop (fixed), power shifting (a few times) and running slicks. So far the car has been bulletproof!

I hear the roll cage calling to me, I just can't dooo....
