How much super charger oil?

Sorry about title......meant to hit shift and hit enter.....doofus.

So I read through the entire How-to and didn't get any definitive answers. I just changed the s/c oil and got out about 4.5-5 oz of oil that was brown. I put back in appx 6.5-7 oz of s/c oil. It leaked out when I pulled the plug to change and it leaked out when it appeared full after the change. Is this normal for those of you who have done this?

yes this is normal...and this is also how i was able to tell that i had got the s/c full enough (oil started to spill out).

6oz's or fill until the oil barely starts to trickly out of the threads on level ground.
