How to change when the boost comes on?

I remember hearing someone stating that instead of the boost coming on at 0", they changed it to come on at 5".

Can someone tell me what one has to do, to make this happen?

I remember seeing a post about changing the action of the vaccum boost actuator on back driver side of the blower and how to change the clearence between the actuator arm and the stop to adjust how soon boost hits. If anyone can find a link to it that would definitly help.
