Ok..I got a hydroboost off of Amazon.
The body has 464A-4 cast number
My original hydroboost has 464A-7 cast number

There is a threaded barbed hose fitting that goes in my original.
It does not thread into the new hydoboost and the new one is not threaded at all.
The new hydroboost also seems shallow where it would be threaded in as well.

This is a pic of the new hydroboost and the threaded barb attachment from the original hydroboost:

Does anyone know what the deal with this is.??
I could thread it myself..I suppose.
I have the tools to do it.

I don't want to send it back and just get another of the same.

Disclaimer: I admit that I haven't done a search on this issue yet.

ok..so now does anyone know how to remove the pushrod from the original hydroboost??

"If you take a flat head screw driver and push one side of that star in, the other side will start to come out. You just have to wiggle it out. just be careful because that spring behind it will launch it out of there once it comes loose. Try a flatness screwdriver and some needlenose plyers and you should be good."

Does this sound right?
I don't want to break anything.

EDIT: Ok got it removed and reinstalled in new hydroboost.
