Got some stuff from my buddy who does Hydrodipping done on the 5.0. Have some billet caps coming in the mail as well. Slowly getting her prettied up and looking presentable.

Eventually I'll have a few other things done by him. Just short on funds at the moment.

Don't mind me, just gonna photo whore :)

Stay tuned for a spring photoshoot once the weather allows me to wash the car, but here's a few current shots of the car and random pics.

I'll eventually change the color of the wheels, i get bored easily. Or if i can actually save up enough, get the wheels I want.

How is the hydrodipping? Reminiscent of powder coating or more of a vinyl wrap?

I love the wheels, plasti dip is really becoming an amazing product with clears flats and flakes.

that digital camp is pretty cool. I thought of something like that but with red instead of white.

Can't figure out how to embed the link but here's a video on how its done. You paint the part the base color you want it to be, then do the dipping process with the design sheets. Then clear coat over it.

What are you using to mount the iPad mini? I'm assuming some kind of double sided tape?

Looks good OP.

What exactly do you use the ipad for besides aux input? Or is it hardwired in? Looks good.

I use it for GPS maps, internet, you name it. I mainly use it for movies/music and GPS.

I have SYNC in my car so it plays through bluetooth. Have a USB cord always in the car to charge it on long trips. I used Velcro so i can easily remove it if need be since i also use it out side of the car.

Looks sick. People who criticize plastidip are insane. If done right, looks great ALSO cheap as hell and easily removable. Win win win.

I agree. IMO as long as its done right, some plasti dipped cars can look perfect, just like wrap. But some cars don't turn out so well. I had my New Edge dipped in Koi Orange. It turned out alright, but i ended up peeling it after 2 months because it had a few imperfections i didn't like. But for my first time ever doing it, it looked good.

Too much stuff going on for my taste. Hydrocarbon, white digicam, blue metallic wheels, honeycomb lower grille with CDC upper. Don't mean to offend but I'm more simplistic I guess.

BTW what carbon fiber style dash is that you have on the gauge cluster and airbag area?

I'm looking into getting the ROUSH lower grill, hate the honeycomb lower. And the wheels were all done before the engine bay stuff, so i may change them. Just wanted something different. The dash is 3m Vinyl wrap.

Sure, here's a few others I took of it. You can see the flaws i didn't like in certain lighting.

Looking through old pics, i sure do miss that car :(
