***Hopefully my title keeps me out of the "bought not built" controversy.***

My upcoming build is now underway as the plan has been finalized and the project launched. Van at Revan Racing has been instrumental with the planning--helping me while also trying to get situated for the Texas Mile run he is about to conduct. I cannot thank him enough.

I would also like to thank the GT500 community. Your enthusiasm and knowledge have educated and inspired me.

I hope some find this interesting.

Should be nice once it is done.

Where are you getting the 2012 seats from?

Why a stock Ford balancer vs a stock size one from ATI?

My 2008 FRPP Dampener handles over 920 at the wheel. Same thing for RDSNK46.

With many of the recent crank pulley failures I'm sticking with OEM and likely double keying the crank.

There is a lot of minutia with a build like this and suggestions like this can be reviewed. If necessary changed although I'm already purchasing stuff!

    Time is of the essence!

Good to know. Is double keying something they can do when swapping the lower pulley or does the crank need to be out?

    OP, amazing build! I'm jealous.

It would have to come out.

Yes--I am staying away from the overdrive pulleys. We are also double keying the cobra jet crank and the 2008 balancer.

Sounds like a killer build, but I'd go with a larger blower if I was doing all of the mods you listed.

Either way you will have an awesome GT500 built and assembled by professionals that will stand behind their work and give you piece of mind.

Nice build, I'm a whipple man myself but still a great build. Only thing I would do differently is the blower. With a built motor the 2.8 wouldn't even be an option. Other than that should be a blast. What is the car's intended purpose. Taking from the Griggs and dealing with Van your going to be doing some road racing. Might explain the blower size

I appreciate that recommendation. I can always go with the KB 3.6L LC or the Whipple 4.0L any time :) I'm sure Van will take care of it if I ever ask him :)

Damn straight gunna be nasty on the road coarse!! Did you order the suspension through Griggs or through Van?? I need to get a hold of griggs for my Kmember setup.. That is a pretty penny to drop all at once man!! No joke probably close to 50k alone on parts
