Upgraded my system from 3/4” to 1” and did a super single heat exchanger. I added 1.5 gals of Zerex G05 coolant and the rest distilled. Foaming pretty good. Why is it doing this and how can I remedy?

Did you use any wetting product (like Water Wetter)? Wetting agents can result in foaming if too much is used. Also, check your tank cap seal. A partial or major loss of system pressure can contribute to the foaming as well.

Drained all the fluid and flushed it with a garden hose. Need to drain the system and add distilled water now. No foam now

So running straight distilled water is fine? I have a killer chiller and want to change the fluids out

you may also want to look into the pump you're using - some of them need some of the lubrication provided by coolant/additives
