Incredible collection. About the Syclone "hype" ...

Yeah, it was quick for the day. C&D's 1991 test of one netted them 0-60 mph in 5.3 sec, the 1/4 mile in 14.1 sec @ 93 mph, a 126 mph top speed and 0.80g on the skidpad (the older 1985 Mustang GT circled the skid pad at 0.85g).

Compare that to C&D's test of the 1989 20th Anniv T/A that did it in 4.6 sec, 13.4 @ 101 mph, 153 mph and 0.88g skidpad number and you can start to see how it was lagging somewhat.

Heck, even the 225 hp 1987 Stang GT was only ~1/2 second slower than the Syclone, and it cost a ton less.

Today brings us to our final video installment touring the car collection at National Parts Depot. However, we have a lot more coming from NPD over the next several weeks. We'll be taking a closer look at some of the vehicles that stood out to me in the collection, plus some of the tools that keep them in running condition. I could probably spend a month in there filming and still not hit everything.

In this video we find a couple early SVTs in possibly better than showroom-new condition, and I give you a look at the exterior of the building. I suppose another name for this series could be Garage Goals, because spending time with this collection definitely motivates me to add more space for my rides. If you like Gen 1 Lightnings (I still want to own one some day) and Fox-Body Cobras (how about one that hasn't been through dealer prep?), then I think you're going to like this:
