Installed an O/R H pipe and combined with my muffler delete the car goes to 11. It's way too loud.

I'm wondering what you guys with O/R pipes are using and how you like it. I was thinking about ordering GT500s since the general consensus is positive.

I'd like to keep it as cheap as possible without sacrificing sound quality. I really like what I've seen from the Borla S types, but they're pretty pricy.

It is a copy of the Borla, the OBX and Maximizer headers are copies of the Hooker ones as well. From my experience those chinese factory workers do a decent enough job copying stuff.

Looks just like it. I'd be curious on how they sound.

Get S types. Very well behaved at lower RPM's and no drone but when you punch it they sound amazing

Me too.

I'm leaning towards it. I don't want to spend that much, but I guess it's better to spend the money and get something that sounds good.

I'm also considering the Mac axle back. It's about the same price as the GT500s and sounds good from what I've seen on youtube

GT 500 sound nice and are pretty quiet. I run them with ORH pipe.

I'm leaning this way.

Was about to order S types then saw they're for 13-14 GTs... Not sure what exactly is different about the 11-12/13-14 exhaust set up.

I've got GT500 axle back, stock midpipe and exhaust manifolds right now. From the little research I've done, I've found that most people think an ORH with GT500 mufflers sounds really good, but be sure to keep the resonators. If the resonators are deleted it's a little too much for some people.

I've daily driven with ORH and GT500 AB for over 4 years now. Got 96k on my car. It is great for a DD...not too loud, but loud enough when you want it to be. As soon as I get another DD, I will be deleting the resonators and see how I like that, but not til I don't have to drive it every day.

1) did your muffler deletes eliminate the factory resonator 2) Are you still on factory headers? If this is to loud I would add (2) 3 inch dynomax mufflers for resonators if you have the 3" ota pipes. 95 delivered from summit and 30 to 50 to have them welded in at a muffler shop- I have 1 7/8' kooks to a orh to 3" ota Mbrp 5" street mufflers and my shit was just obnixous- add those bullets this Saturday and it is such a world of difference. but when you stomp it still screams. this isn't my daily and I should of install those bullets as reso's right after I had the mbrp cat back installed- car is soooo much nice to cruise in now. ( I installed the 12 inch bodied ones with a 16.5" overall length in mine fit nice and you only lose about 5/8" ground clearance.

I have stock headers, offroad H pipe, aftermarket over-axle pipes, no resonators, and the single-tip GT500 mufflers.

The car is loud, but not that loud. There is a bit of drone going 75 mph on the highway, but I just play music to drown it out. I drive normally whenever I see a police officer and I don't get any attention from them.

Plus, I run E-85, so my car has a sweet smell about it.

Offroad H and S-Types is quite loud. Bit of drone in the 2200-2500rpm range (which sadly, is right around 75-80mph with my 3.73s, highway cruise speed)

No, resonators are still there. The muffler delete just cut away the stock muffler and welded on some 3" pipe. Still have factory headders.

That combo sounds loud as hell. I can't say that I dislike loud, but there needs to be some sound quality. Mine just sounds harsh, loud, and poppy right now.

I'd like some S types, but for some reason it looks like they only sell them for 13-14s. I've got an 11 :\

GT500s in the mail, should be here Monday. I'll record a before and after video so no one tries this straight pipe bullshit :D

I run an OR/X with resonator deletes and the FRPP sports and I think it sounds great. No drone on the highway and not loud cruising around. Little bit of rasp in the 5k rpm range makes it sound nice.

I had O/R X pipe with GT500's and hated it. But then again, I prefer a smooth sounding car.

I had gt500 muffs with an ORX pipe and it was too quiet for me. Switched over to roush muffs and it was louder than 100 porn stars having anal sex, so i ended up putting my cats back on. The roush muffs are louder than the gt500s without cats.
