Intake manifold heater inlet

Had a coolant leak from the metal heater inlet on the intake manifold so I pulled the manifold and heated up the manifold trying to remove it and needless to say it broke. I’m worried that by the time I beat the rest out the new one will never seal. Anyone ever drill it out and thread it? Any other suggestions? Not sure what to do right now and I really don’t want to have to find another manifold.

Thanks Dustin. I’m drilling it and tapping 1/2” NPT. Going to go ahead and do both sides for the cross over.
