I know of a dealer that will order your 2014 Shelby GT500, any way you want it.
Invoice + $2000.
Thats invoice, not MSRP. Wants to cover his SVT franchise fee's.

I have purchased from him before, a straight shooter. No BS

PM me if interested. I'm not on this forum every day so be patient if I don't respond immediately.

This allocation has been picked up.
I'm certainly glad that an SVT member was able to benefit from this great deal.

So, how much approximately did it cost? Can you disclose what options, etc that you ordered. Congrats on the purchase.

Damn, Invoice + $2000 is a helluva deal! Congrats!

That is unless someone has to pay $2,500 to ship it out to the West Coast:dw:

Seems like all the good deals are offered back East. We're basically held hostage out here, and end up being "lucky" to pay MSRP.

Here's one being offered at "only" $30k over MSRP-

2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 $97,085 Race Red, 2 door , RWD, Coupe, 6-Speed Manual, 5.8L V8 32V MPFI DOHC Supercharged, Stock# 25162.
Dealer: Future Ford of Sacramento (Sacramento, CA ~ 405 mi. away)

For some reason- west coast dealers jack the prices up.

I was at a Ford dealer today with a vert- $10k over. I had a long conversation with them about it.

Basically-
3 feet of snow on ground
19* out
Been on lot for 3 mos.
Odd option combo

Not a good combo

Sold their 1st one for that back in June.

So it does happen here too- but just not as prevalent

I got them to reconsider the price (not for me), and I think they get it now

Haha, thanks Eagle Eye, now just to get the matching Shelby baby recaro :)

Car will be:
> 2014 GT500 coupe
> Sterling grey metallic with blue stripes
> glass roof
> recaro seats
> SVT performance package
> electronics package

I will start a thread later with some questions, the only other new car I've ever purchased was an '04 Cobra and that was already on the lot.

Kept as priority 10, was told probably wouldn't matter as it is their last allocation and first is already being built, so it will be pulled at random.
BTW invoice for above was $60093

Congrats biminiLX. Did you get a document showing the invoice price? I put in the options as you listed on Edmunds and it shows the invoice as $58,666. I know that Edmunds only has info for 2013s, but I didn't think the difference between a 2013 and a 2014 was over $1400.

Is there another charge for the dealer's marketing expense (that is the explanation I got when I asked about the difference from Edmunds and the dealership invoice on a F150 I bought a few years ago)?

You got it, there is a roughly $500 increase from '13 to '14 and there is a $900 Ford ADV marketing fee that is supposedly charged to the dealer on the invoice from Ford. Thanks, very excited.

Grats on your order, I'm sad to say the dealer that I got mine from is now on the ADM bus so I can't recommend them for a Shelby. Can't wait to see it!
