I am not sure the 9” was an old man thing. Remember back to early 2000s when IRS was blowing out of these. Quick answer was a 9” install and there were kits to do it. This car seems to be one of those. It has to be a drag car… with a drag paint job
In any case, the paint really jacks it up… and it’s painted on. Ruined.

The 9” was pretty much bulletproof back in the day and if you had another center section already built, ratio changes were a piece of cake.
