IRS rear frame mount - stripped / stuck nut help!

Anyone with experience dealing with a stripped / stuck nut on the rear IRS frame brackets? I went to put the rear subframe bolts in and the drivers side rear would not initially line up with the captured nut inside the mounting bracket. It then bit but as I was tightening it down it got tight and the tab that stops the nut from rotating broke off. Now the nut just spins and the bolt will not go in further nor come out. I put a pry bar in the slot to try and stop the nut from spinning to see if I could get the bolt out or snug. No luck

Anyone deal with this? I assume I can take the bolts of the frame bracket and lower the subframe in the rear till the bracket drops. Then I can cut the bolt to free the subframe. Do I need a new bracket or can something be done to replace just the nut?

Lower the entire bracket down. Weld the nut to the bracket or cut it off and find a new nut.

Gonna need a new nut as I’m sure you cross threaded it.

Figured I would need a new nut but it has the sheet metal tab attached to it to stop it from rotating when the bracket is mounted. Not sure they are available.

Man it’s been so long since I had mine out. Can’t recall how much room you have.

You can’t sneak a wrench in there?

No wrench fits. Ene up taking the rear of the irs down with the bracket attached and drilling out the bolt from the nut. Air chisel to take the nut retaining piece off. Welded a tail to a new nut and put it in the bracket.

IRS reinstalled with no issues.
