is my clutch going bad?

I have a 99 mustang gt with a twin disk and a bbk clutch cable. I bought the car with all of those mods already but the only problem is that the clutch engagement is at the very top with about an inch left of travel and I know that's not normal. Is it possible to adjust the engagement point with the bbk cable? or is my clutch going out cause that's usually (to my knowledge) what happens when the clutch is going out. Lemme know what you guys think

Is there a firewall adjuster?

Iirc you could adjust the stock clutch pedal/lever arm

there is a firewall adjuster. I have already tried the stock method of pulling the pedal to the top till it clicks but that doesn't work
