I don’t care much for mr layouts. Very stable and fast, but I like to drive sideways and Parnelli.

I actually prefer driving a slower car quickly than a faster car slowly, and as far as rewarding driving experience, I prefer a Nissan 350z or s2000 as an apex predator compared to a corvette.

For me, a 750hp warranty car without the fancy carbon or aero is great. We dont have a nearby drag strip or road coarse anymore so the overly track focused stuff is lost to me. Driving carbon fiber wheels on our roads would be a massive stupidity exercise.

What is $67k for 750hp? Entry M4 money. 4 cylinder amg 4 door with 400hp, 2 seat amg with 415hp.

$6k more than a base hellcat.

When I said performance, I meant overall performance and didn't mean just straight line or I would've mentioned the Dodge as it owns that segment. Willing to bet you could throw a power adder on the C8, be under the GT500 Carbon price and it would outperform it everywhere.
If the 4 seconds faster is big willow the new GT500 is as fast as the 675LT, faster than the AMG GT-R, 488, Huracan, LP570, GTR, GT3, and the current Z06.

Ive heard VIR mentioned, well, to be specific, i believe it was stated to be 3 (or 4) seconds faster on a 2.5 mile course. and then the video americanGT posted that lead tech guy specifically mentioned VIR at one point about track times.. so id wager there. Not sure how that compares though

It was nearly 4 seconds faster at a 2.5 mile course.
VIR, the 4.2 mile course is generally used. Yes Ford has tested there and they do have specific times and comparisons.

This is the only view a GT500 will have of a Demon when we race. Guys get any info yet, or still the same ol circle jerk in here? Beautiful day. Had the Demon out. GT500 still 6 months away. Great launch Ford.

I’ll take some dodge dungeons and dragons basement dweller level 2 spellcaster with a side of zr1 and gt2rs.

Just an old gray ford with snails and some go fast stuff, nothing special
