I installed my new JLT Oil Seperator and I noticed that the top of the "can" is touching/hitting the bottom side of my FRPP brace. Has anyone else run into this, and if so what is the fix? I was going to put some sort of tape/pad on the bottom side of the brace, but wanted to see if anyone else had this issue.

I checked and I believe the connector is seated, but I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks.

Looks like you may be able to adjust the can on the fittings to sit sideways for more clearance.

The ultimate fix is in my signature, good thread too.

I don't have an answer to your question

But how do you get your head cover bolts so clean?

Nothing special. Once or twice a year I use some dilluted Simple Green and spray throughout the engine compartment (cold), and then hose off. Dry off with a compressor/leaf blower, then followup with some vinyl dressing for the hoses/plastic and it's good to go.
