Very cool article on heads & engine related stuff. Most interestingly what he has to say on the Mark VIII heads out of the 93-98 Lincoln Mark VIII's and they also came in the 96 to 98 Cobra's.

    Sorry if it's a repost.

I found that article a while back and thought it was very interesting. Just shows the potential of a properly set up 4.6

John has a lot of great info. I've been considering building a B-Head engine in the next year or so.

Good stuff there. I had a short phone conversation with John way back in 2004, but man, would I love to spend an afternoon picking his brain. Nice guy. There's a ton of good stuff locked in that brain.

Dude is a genius. His comment on AL block being stronger than FE block is worth noting. Guys are still stuck on the idea that FE is stronger.

I have an NA b head 5.4 on deck. The b heads have a bad wrap from too many internet readers.

If I understand correctly, B heads perform better at higher RPM.

Boost negates some/a lot of flow imperfections though.

Huge intake ports with a terrible short turn on a tiny motor makes for very slow moving air.
