When a car misfires as a result of a batch of bad gas which causes the plugs to all inconsistently fire (and ultimate plug failure), if one were to lay their foot into the throttle trying to clear the plugs and the misfires continue to happen what kind of actual damage to the pistons, valves or anything else could occur? What would be the tall-tale signs that damage occurred if this were to be the case?
