According to Ford’s website, Shelter Green is only available on the Raptor. That both good and bad. Good because it visually identifies the truck as a Raptor. Bad because it’s a great paint color and unless you pay the premium for the Ranger Raptor you can’t get it. IMO Shelter Green is the best paint color on the Ranger.

Been fighting the installation of a RealTruck Backflip tonneau cover for the past 2 weeks. Multiple emails of pics/vids to them and phone calls...all initially saying it was improper install, lol, and now finally, that it may need to be shimmed in order for it to latch/lock properly.

Shims being sent out to me and should be here next week, one more try and if this doesn't work or I don't like how the shims are, I am returning it for a refund and will be looking for other options for a hard tri-fold cover.

Very frustrating.

Hopefully the shims help. I installed the Ford tonneau cover. It's not perfect but it's good enough.

Does Gator make a hard tri-fold for it? I have one on my 150 and it's been great the last 7 years. My neighbor just got one from Gator for his Maverick.

^^^Dunno, but will look. Perhaps a bit premature, but I've been looking at a few others for potential future options...

Man did I struggle choosing a tonneau back in 2014. I used my bed a lot, needing as much bed space as possible, so the hard rollups, not an option. Didnt like the idea of a trifold, blocking the back window, or taking it off. Hard one piece was not even considered. Went with the Tuxedo (not sure if still called that). Its a good quality vinyl roll up. It takes up near zero bed space (rolls tight), and is quick and easy to roll. 1st one I got in 2014 and is on our Raptor, the 2nd was 2017, and now has been on 2 SD's.

Dont want to turn this into a Tonneau discussion, but, thought I might share my experience when selecting, and the satisfaction

They should offer the power roll-up factory cover for the Ranger Raptor like they do in Australia.

Im in the same boat. Ive had one on my F150 since 2012. Installed myself in no time. Finally replaced the cover part a couple years ago (its outside in fl 24/7). Their customer service is excellent. It can get a little water in the corners in a severe rain but I've never had anything get wet/damaged.

My 2020 came used and had a Pace Edwards electric with two key fobs. Love this thing! I took it off at trade in and put it on my 25. Downside is it does take up some space in the bed but doesn't fold up and block my view when hauling things. Just gotta find out what to sacrifice in how you use your truck.

So after a few weeks of back and forth and installing and removing the cover 5 times, I have had enough. Emailed them and told them I want a RA to ship it back and a refund.

Waiting to hear back...

Then I will be looking for another hard folding tonneau cover, most likely a Leer.

Hope they make the return easy for you, Scott. I also hope your new plan on a folding cover works out well! (y)

Received the RA and just dropped it off at FedEx to be returned. Waiting on my refund. Will be going to a local place tomorrow to check out a Leer...

Returned cover, received refund. Purchased a different one locally, install in 2 weeks or so.

Was looking at a LEER, but they swayed me towards the Armor Flex/Undercover tonneau. Leer had a 3 year warranty, AF has a 5 year, and if I have them do the install it doubles to 10 years. Which is kinda nuts. It's a great looking low profile heavy duty unit.

Can't wait to finally have the security and full use of my bed!
