Actually when comparing factory unit other similar (dual port TB), the numbers do match. Eg:as you can see in the pictures above there is a huge difference in the size of the opening and the overall design which makes a pretty big difference in the CFM capability. The Accufab is rated at almost 1,700 CFM, the factory unit is likely closer to 700 or maybe 800 on the high end.
Wirelessguy, did you tap your manifold for the iat? Also, do you have pics of your setup?

What are your mods and what are you putting down?i spoke with the Tuner i was planning on using and he (Lidio at Alternative) told me that it didn't matter if i left the IAT in the factory spot or relocated it as he would tune for higher inlet temps based on past experience with tuning the b headed cobra motors with a Kenne Bell. I didn't really take any pics of my setup when i had it apart but i do have a couple pics of the modified inlet if i can find them i will post them up.

Hmmmthe motor is all factory stock with about 36,000 original miles on the clock. It does have an X Pipe with flowmasters and i also added the JLT cold air as well as the throttlebody from Accufab. The car is making 11 lbs of boost and tuned on e85. Unfortunately i was never able to finish my original dyno session due to a bad set of ford performance plug wires. I plan to dyno it again soon, my guess is really close to 500 rwhp.

After removing those bosses, how did you insert those two bolts to attach SC plate to intake manifold?..Or did you simply leave them out?we cut the bosses out of the inlet to improve air flow
Hmm, I would understand if you would have removed totally this gap where throttle bracket mounts (since probably it can restrict air flow), eg like venom1997 did here:welded up around where the throttle bracket mounts so we could port it on the inside of the inlet
I am currently running 11lbs of boost with e85 and considering going up a couple more lbs. I looked into running meth with e85 and everyone I spoke with didn't recommend that combo.
