I am swapping from a Kenne Bell 2.6 to a 2.2(long story in another thread), but I was wondering if my current throttle body would fit up to my 2.2 or if I need to get a different sized one. I bought the car with its current setup so am not entirely sure which TB it has, but its a large single blade oval Accufab I believe.

I see you are in Vermont. You should make the trip to Concord, NH to have Pete at performance Dyno tune your car. I'd go with whatever he recommends. Give him a call.

Yes the whole inlet is the same. The Throttle body will fit just fine. As far as max boost there is a lot to play into that, but a huge consensus says that 93 octane and sub 20 timing you should run in the 17-18 psi range. The 2.2L is one of the most loved blowers of all times because of it's sound. I ran one for years and was a fun little blower.

Exactly what GodStang said....it’ll fit. That’s the TB I have on mine. 18psi of boost.
