Hi all. I read on Kenne Bell's website that Jon Lund had tuned Mark Meiring's GT500 to have 945 RWHP with 15% remaining fuel. Has anyone reached 1000 RWHP with the competition boost-a-pump, or is about 950 RWHP about the limit on a stock fuel system and 80 pound injectors?

Thanks for any input!

950 RWHP on C-16 with 80's and a Competition BAP and the fuel system is done. For what we've discussed on your car you need larger pumps and injectors. The safer you make the fuel system the less likely you will create engine problems. You might also take into account when referencing the Kenne Bell website that 2013 and 2014 GT500's come with Dual 5.0 pumps where the 2007-2012 GT500's do not. The Dual 5.0 pumps are capable of a lot more fuel volume.

Heed Van's advice!

Never push your fuel system to the ragged edge!!
Not all fuels are equal or consistent and a cold, good air day could be the death toll for your motor.

What pumps would you upgrade to? On a 07 gt500 and at what horsepower?

Thanks for the confirmation Van! The deeper a person goes with a car to get that 1/4 mile time lower there is always some component that is a limiting factor. I knew that there was a limit to the BAP, and I was actually kind of shocked to see that it was able to hit 950. The input is appreciated!
