It looks like other ones I have seen. I wouldn't be afraid to use it. Though I'm still on my stock pully but I'm sure KB would know how to make a decent pully puller. :)

I just bought the Steeda 2.81 steel pulley and am in the market for a puller. It's between this and the amazon racing puller. I would prefer the Kenne Bell for it's slip on design, but it looks like it may scratch the shaft. Also I want to know if it will press on the pulley.

On my Lightning the Kenny Bell didn't need a pulley puller. All I needed when I changed the pulley was a 10 or 11 mm allen deep socket. The pulley just comes right off... On the street I used a 3" (18#) and at the track I used a 2.75 (20#) or 2.5 (22#).

I think they are reffering to the puller itself, not KB pulleys. The KB puller in the link is for pulleys for the Eaton. The KB pulleys for the KB blower eliminate the need for a puller like you said, just need the wrench to hold it still. Too Easy!!!!!
