Somehow, we lived.
I hope I get a chance to run that track one day. Love it!
Not sure if your gt350 will pass the 92 db limit, it won't with the switch off. Ops car is quiet, nice to see a high hp mustang on a road course that isn't just a boring ass oval. Thanks for sharing op.
Glad you enjoyed it.
I made a special "Laguna Pipe" to re direct the exhaust away from the meter, not sure if I really needed it but it passed so I imagine it worked.
I'll try this weekend without it and we'll see if it still passes.
Sal, I've met you before, we met up next to this gas station and diner with the Shelby mustang club, I rolled up in my 5.0. It was all a bunch of gt500 cars. I know your car is loud AF. Did you quiet it down by adding exhaust?
I just hung back when we headed over to the Shelby museum.
Whoops beat me to it! Funny I've seen another 5.0 with a setup like yours on 101. I'm positiv the guy came from Laguna. There's also a turbo nsx that's always at that track with pipes like that.
Yes, I swapped out the mufflers for a set of 3" super turbos.
I added the laguna pipe for insurance.
OH YES....THERE'S SOME CRAZY STUFF THAT GOES ON THERE.
Do a Google search for "Laguna Pipes" and you'll be entertained for hours.
That BMW exhaust is awesome. Love the heat shield he added.
Wow... 92 DB? That's ridiculous. I think it is 99 DB with the active exhaust closed. Any idea why they have that restriction?
Genius people who bought houses near a RACETRACK then started to complain about the noise...
Figures. I love people who move to the airport and complain about the planes.
BTW, is that a Dragon's Lair screen grab in your sig?
Its 90 DB on most days with limited 92 days available.
It was from The Curse of Monkey Island.
You have a really, really nice modded GT. And nice driving on a fairly wet track. Very dicey at the beginning, but the track seemed to be decently dry after the sun poked through the clouds. Driving at Laguna Seca must be an absolute blast.
Making big power....
Having nerves of steel to drive on wet track....
They tried that with the local race track here and the county told them to go pound sand.
Why thank you Bob

Here's one from last weekend
