I was digging through some old threads and found a few threads about the greatest movie cars, but what about the ones that aren't famous or weren't the star of the show they were in? Here's a list of some lesser known cars I can think of. What are some of of the cars you wish we could have seen more of on the screen or would have been more famous?

Ford truck in The Expendables
Camaro in Eat My Dust
Bigfoot in Take This Job and Shove It
'41 Willys in Hot Rod
'69 Stang in Point Break
Mercury in Cobra
Sherman tank in Tank
'67 or '68 Stang in Never Back Down
442 in Demolition Man
Firebird in Corvette Summer
Firebird in McQ
Torino in Gran Torino
Ferarri in Ferris Bueller

I could go on, but what can everyone else think of? TV or movie either one.

Most here are too young for these 2...but...

Of course I have to start with Steve McGarrett's

1968 Mercury Parklane Brougham

Which was replaced in '74 with his '74 Marquis Brougham (pictured here with Jack Lord's stunt double to whom the car was given)

Next would be Dan Tanna's '57 Thunderbird from VEGA$ (I used to love how he pulled right into his apartment living room behind the Desert Inn)

They also have it listed as a 2001 Cobra. :nonono:

There was a movie I was watching the other day that had a Cobra in it I think... but now that I saw this thread I can't remember.

Harrison Fords Chevy in American Graffiti -[55? i think]

I don't know if Ford's '55 Chevy is a lesser known movie car. I loved that car. So many people have seen American Graffiti and his '55 was so prominent in the movie, second only to Milner's '32 Ford Deuce Coupe. Hard to forget that Chevy. Bad to the bone.

How about the the Lamborghini Islero GTS from the 1970 cult-movie 'The Man Who Haunted Himself'.
