Had to replace the truck bed as you can see it was all rotted. Talked to a couple body shops about just replacing the floor and they really wanted nothing to do with it. Said I should just replace the whole bed rather than just the floor, but my outside panels are near perfect and the beds I found online weren’t even close to the same condition so I decided to do it myself.
Turned out to be a fun little project and I am happy with the results. Now I just need a bedliner and it will be complete.

I don't like it as much as my 1990 Silverado 1500 single cab short bed step side 4x4. Or my 2003 Silverado SS. But it's ok and it'll serve the purpose of pulling four wheelers on a trailer. It's a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 6.0 liter. 51K miles and bone stock. This picture was after I ran the torsion key bolts in six turns.

Is that Ford Performance Blue?

I wish I had waited to find a truck in Performance Blue, it’s such a great color.
Sure is, glad I went with it over the gray color for 2019. Cant remember what it was called but the dealer was charging 1K more for that gray color over the exact same spec as my FPB Raptor.

Seems sketchy. It feels solid but I'm hesitant. Someone tell me I'm not going to get crushed.

Hope to have a real shop one day. This two car garage shit sucks. View attachment 1843636View attachment 1843637

If you feel uneasy, just place some jackstands on the corners for extra insurance

Uhhh what’s that truck weigh?

I’ve gone under my f150 on the 7k lb ones but I shoved it around quite a bit before I got under there. They work but agree I’d rather have an actual lift.

6,600 I think. These are rated at 7K lbs. Just feels sketchy. Probably because I'm used to seeing the car on them.

A friend's farrier rig. Features include a forge, welder, anvil, grinders, buffers, drill presses, a fridge, and an impressive snack drawer. He gets $425/horse via word of mouth.

$425 a horse? Holy shit. You need to have them done every six weeks because of the hoof growing constantly. My guy charges $40 per horse but mine don't wear shoes.

He has "high end clientele." These are the types of people who pour temporary concrete slabs at the shows for their setups, and have the thing catered. Remember, this is Bay Area money. It's been a gold rush here for a long, long time.

Stuffed the truck in the garage, which barely fits to replace the radio so 1) my 2 annoying ass neighbors don’t come over my rape my ear holes all day with their stupidity 2) keep the heat tolerable

stock photo of what my stock radio looked like. The Maestro RR kit keeps the screen working, pretty sure Im gonna go disable Sync though. With wireless carplay it really doesnt serve a purpose anymore but steering wheel controls work

it looks like a big space but it's still 10lbs of shit of about an 8 lb bag. I hid the serious antenna under the speaker in the middle of the dash, gps antenna is on the dash by the daylight sensor for the head lights. Sirius tuner is zip tied to the bottom of the T brace to the round pipe. The Maestro box is zip tied to the vertical bar in that brace. I gave up on organizing anything else, just pushed it back there.
