Lol yeah I’d probably keep the resonator on. Maybe Borla touring or flowmaster? I’m just at the point I can’t see spending $1,200 on exhaust on my daily. So I’ll probably end up with the DB.

The muffler itself is $300+ IMO i would go to a good shop and check out what they use and like. I had one local to me that did awesome work and had the best recommendations. Check this place out

I always did custom. I bought one pre bent and it didn’t even fit right. Kinneys has great videos on their site.

I have the Flowmaster Outlaw direct replacement muffler on my 2016 Ram Sport 4X4, rcsb and it's stupid loud at cold, especially at 5:50 am.
lol About the same loudness, if not louder than that.
No rear liners... not needed.

I JUST sold my '06 Silverado 4.8/5sp 4wd.
Ordered it new in '06. Could only get the stick with the W/T package. Got it with 4.10 gears & LSD, chrome rear bumper, tinted back glass and deluxe cloth seat.
With rebates and GM card rebate I paid $16K. (MSRP was $22K)
Daily drove it 13 years and had 170K miles.
Bought a new '18 F150, XLT 302a, 5.0 & 3.73's. Its nice and fairly quick...but my stick truck was way more fun to drive....
