Tire sizes are not equal between companies!!!Goodyear and BFG are alot wider than most.

yep, yep

the GS-D3's are especially wide....their square shoulders give a huge contact patch and the rim protector sidewall adds to the wide appearance

I have heard you can fit 315s onto 17 by 9s. Is this true and does anyone have pics?

You can fit Nitto 315's on stock 03 cobra rims, and that is it. All the other "315" tires by other makers are actuallhy wider beleive it or not. Trust me, i have been there and done that.

In a year from now, the '05 GT will be just another "GT" that everyone and their dog has. The value is going to fall through the floor like all the others. The cobra on the other hand is unique, will always be unique and will always have more value than any GT (except the GT [supercar]).

Id go with the 03/04 cobra.. New cars (Brand new design) usually suck the first year in production.. That and the power potential, which i know EVERYONE who has riden/owned/driven an 03/04 can tell you is completely nuts.. It makes me want to give up my L.. :burnout:

This is true the Cobra can make sick power, which is a big draw. But I am seeing some pretty nice numbers comming from the 05's already mid 12's with minor bolt-ons trapping 110+. My thinking is that it is easier to add power/performance than it is to change a look, and the 05 just looks so good.

Though I do fear that me and 300K other people think it looks good too... one on every corner.
