I've got a set of OE heads from an '02 Supercharged HD sitting in my garage-
BUT they have had an issue where each side had "spit-out" a spark plug & have been "heli-coiled" already once or twice.

Is it possible to do any permanent repair to spark plug openings or am I sitting on "scrap metal"???

Inserts work the best, but if they have been heli-coiled already they may not work, take them to a shop and have them give you a first hand answer.
