about what do yall think i should pay for a low milage "L".i bought my 04 new for 28500 out the door. i got it out of houston.but i have been seeing 20k miles 04 lightning going nfor around 24k to 29k. i think thats alittle high. what do you think?

Are you buying another Lightning?$25,000 for an 04 is a good price.

whith 20k mile doesnt seem like a good deal.i have a freind here in baton rouge area who has a 02 with 15k miles on the ticker.making 420hp 580tq and he will sell it to me for 23k. but im really looking for a all stock 04 sonice blue or dsg.his is red btw, and is in perfect condition.even if he wasnt selling it to me he is only asking 25k.witch sounds high but he is a 55 year old man and it doesnt have a scratch anywere on the out side or the bed of the truck

In my area there's a dealership selling an 04' with 7k miles for 29.9k which is nearly 2k more than I paid for mine brand new. 25k is probably the going rate for a good clean 04' with 20k on the odometer.

if i could find a truck with that low of milage for that price 25k than that would be a good deal,but not if it has 20k miles and hasnt been taken car of.

I sold my L about 2 months ago. Perfect interior and exterior and factory tonneau cover. It had just turned 20k on the clock as a 2004, sold it for $26,500 if that gives you an idea. Could have gotten more but needed to get rid of it to get the HD.

when i sold my 04 silver lightning i had a hard time getting 28500 for it. i bought it new and when i sold it it only had 1200 mile on it and still smelled new inside. that was 6 months ago.

Supply and demand. 25K for a 04 with only 20k miles is a good deal. The avg mile a year is up to 15k from 12k 2 years ago, so anything under 15k a year is considered a low milage vehical.

I would have to agree with you on that one. I just now have 68,000 on my 99L and when I bought it, it had 43,000 on it . I have had it since march of 2004. So thats about right. I just drive for fun. :bs:
