Can anyone confirm if MAC Performance is still in business? I had seen a comment on Corral.net saying maybe they had gone out of business. I called their number and got a message that it was no longer in service. I wasn't sure if they actually went out of business or just had to shut down temporarily due to COVID.

I had been trying to buy one of their midpipes but they are like incommunicado, even though they still have a website. Lethal says they haven't heard from them either in one of the threads.

Oh, wow! That is sad news that is going to disappoint a lot of Mustang owners. This is the first time I've heard anything about them going out of business. Wow!

I went to the American Muscle site and searched on MAC exhaust, putting in multiple Mustang models/years. Each one results in "no products found". Seems to confirm the news that Lethal hasn't heard from them.

Thanks everyone for the replies, it is certainly unfortunate. Maybe an opportunity for some of the other companies to pick up on the design, of the pro chamber at least. It seemed to have benefits above the typical h or x pipe.

I have no sympathy for Mac products. Customer service was horrible. Karma...

I've never dealt with MAC Performance so I can't comment on their customer service, but a lot of large companies have seen their customer service crash. Look what happened to American Muscle. Sad though, that a 45 year old company that had decent products shuts down for good. With seemingly not much notice, if any. IMO the ProChamber is legendary, and will be missed. So yeah, Brad, yours just increased in value.

I lived in San Diego for a few years. A good friend of mine was friends with the receptionist there. Always got a good deal on stuff. That was also 10 to 12 years ago.

Customer service sucks with damn near everyone these days. Seldom does the first person you talk to know a damn thing about the products they are selling. When you email a company with a simple question such as asking for dimensions that are not on their site the response you receive is something along the lines of "It's blue". They also seem incapable of reading all of your questions as well. If I ask 3 I am very lucky to have 2 answered but usually its just the first one.

I had a similar situation happen with Cervinis recently. Talk about a total joke. If they had to rely on customer service alone they would have went under years ago.

I am hoping we are seeing the bottom of it all right now because I can't imagine it getting much worse.

While I agree with your general customer service assessment, there ARE some shops/companies that still have exceptional customer service.
