i don't think it would bolt on without an irs swap, the rear diff would either hit it or make it sit so low it would be crushed be a speed bump

Probably would, it route's under the cobra's irs too. Not something I or guessing any other mach owner would do but to each his own.

No you dont need an IRS instead of the exhaust going over the rear axle it would just have to go under it and its not as low as everyone thinks it is

hmmm.... anyone have any more pics of IRS exhaust with a straight axle? I just assumed it wouldn't work. I plan to go with a straight axle, but I like the look of the IRS exhaust...

The reason why people assume it wouldnt work is because of the axle drooping down when you put your car on a lift. But i already measured my axle droopage and its in the clear...Others may be different though do to aftermarket suspensions...My swaybar links are shorten with the drop i have and wont alow the axle to droop as much...

why not just look for someone willing to trade IRS or SRA  rather than buying a $500+ aftermarket catback and ruining it. Not a good idea IMO. If anything PM a guy names 'GRAVES'. he had a Bullet with IRS.

IMO i don't see how this can work with out alot of custom s**t.

I don't have any pictures, but I do have an IRS cat-back on my Mach 1. I only have it because I have the IRS, but if I didn't use the IRS I would not go with an IRS cat-back. An IRS cat-back would require custom hangers to support it in an SRA car, since the IRS cat-back is supported from the IRS sub frame.

Oh this thread is the same as the one on M1R~!! Nonsense!!!

If you think its gonna work, just try it out! use one of ur friends irs exhuasts and try it, NO-ONE with a SRA has done it because it doesnt make sense to do it. It would litterally be maybe 2in off the ground under the sra axle, so you cant hit bumps, or go over speed bumps. If your going to do it right do an IRS swap! The exhuast will not move up or down with the irs!!

Comeon man! Look, your asking people about it and thats good, thats what the forums are for to HELP with questions and everything else, but you've got to understand that some things just arent done,

So try it out and if it works let us know, take some pics, and when the problems come, do a write up of everything, Good luck

Wow looks great! Whered ya get the spacer from?

Previous owner had actually done this, and i couldn't tell you where he ordered it, but it does stand out from the rest coming down the road. PM me when you get a chance about that cobra front bumper on your car, i am really looking into doing that for mine was curious about fitment and paint etc and any problems you had doing the switch.
