Installed a CJ intake and monoblde on the old combination of On3 orx and ota, gt500's, BMR suspension, Strange SA, Viking DA, CircleD 4c, Shaftmaster, 3.15, Mickey 3355r and 30093, weight 3750. It was a good night here in the midwest, da was only 2963. Definitly needs more gear now, going through the lights right at 7000.

No longtubes? I highly suggest getting longtubes. They will definitely benefit your set-up even more and pick-up a good bit in the top end.

It's on the list of things to do. But it was interesting to see the results the CJ intake made on stock manifolds. Wasn't planning on doing the CJ this year, but it and the complete nitrous setup showed up for a killer price. If some one has a used set of Kooks they want to sell, let me know.

You in the coyote groups? I see them for got 5-700 normally.
Nope. But I do keep my eyes open for good deals. I am sorta busy right now working on putting the nitrous setup in and putting more gear in. I figure headers will happen when I change the k member.

The car doesn't need more gear per say but more converter. If going with a different gear the 3.31's are perfect for the 6R80/CJ Intake. But for sure you'll need a looser converter with a 4C minimum.

This car is bracket raced in the midwest, where the da is 3000 to 5000. No mine shaft air out here to get stellar numbers.
The converter will probably stay 4c. Gears will go up to 3.55. This will allow the car to go through the lights at 7750. Plus they will allow room to take the car to 120. When I get there I will then change to 3.31 gears.
I agree that the fastest na cars use 3.31, but this isn't that.
