Just like it says: where's a good place to go to heat-cycle road-racing slicks? I know a parking lot is a decent idea; what I'm looking for are suggestions as to where I can find a good one to do this. I live at 380 and Lake Forest, and would like to find a place where I won't get rousted by the cops or the owners or anything.

Thanks for the suggestions. :tu:

I doubt you could even heat them much in a parking lot really...Seems like at those speeds they would barely get up to temp. (if they are road course slicks)

Yeah, road-course slicks. I'm hearing elsewhere that it's possible, and doesn't take much. I also got a heads-up on a local heat-cycling machine, will post thta shortly.
