CONGRATULATIONS! That wasn't too long a wait. I like this photo.

I just noticed in your signature that your wife drives a 2015 Stingray with manual 7-speed. Just curious, what were you driving before taking delivery of your Iconic Silver 2022 GT-500?

2018 GT350R. It was an impulse buy new off the showroom floor in 2018. The color (Shadow Black) really wasn't my first choice but the price was right (below MSRP). I traded a 16 B5 Blue HC Challenger on it. While I did appreciate the the Voodoo and the R handled like Neo moves in Matrix on asphalt...I always missed the power of the HC. With the GT500, I feel I got enough handling with all the power plus and the nice amenities the HC had too. I went with the comfort heated/cooled memory seats this time after having three sets of Recaros. The "Old Man" seats and I'm quite ok with it. Having dealt with how low the R sits and scrapes on everything, the angle you have to steer into to avoid a scrape etc... Always being conscious of the CF wheels and not to rash them up, I felt I did not need the CFTP option this go around. I do not track my cars regularly anyway. I wanted a more quality driver experience this go around. And of course what I drive has to be special so what's more special than a Shelby GT500?

The wife's 2015 we ordered new in Dec of 2014. It showed up in March.

You both have awesome performance cars. I couldn't help but notice in photo #3 the Vette car cover. Is that an actual car cover the customers get, or a dealer cover of some sort? I like that there is a section you can undo to enter the cabin when the cover is on. Handy when you cover the car over the winter and occasionally want to start it.

That cover is what GM uses during transport for the C7. You can see other vettes in the background have the same cover at the dealership.

Yeah, just give that bitch a name. N2531 sounds like an inmate number, or Starship designator. And congrats!
