Metal shavings in catchcan oil

Just pulled my UPR can after only about 600 miles, was about 1/3 FULL with shavings in the oil.. am I ****ed?

That's intriguing. I'd pull the filter and plug and check for shavings on that side to make sure it's not just the can. Also, send off some oil to Blackstone.

Change the oil and cut the filter

Is it possibly bs from whatever the catch can filter media is?

Also how well UPR cleaned it after machining and assembly. Do everything listed above clean the can and hoses good! Good luck. I say you’re fine!
