Hi everyone!

I'm back from Springfield MO of all places! The place that happen to have 5 inches of snow on the ground this morning (Wed 12/4), on top of at least one inch of ice...and when I left about lunch time this morning it was snowing again. It DID however, give me the opportunity to see what these Pilot Sports are like in inclement weather.

For those of you that haven't driven the car in snow yet, she handled surprisingly well! It's only fair to note that I don't know what Goodyear's would have felt like in the snow, but I'm sure they would have sucked. :) It really didn't feel like I was driving a 500hp car, with 275/40's on her. It felt as surefooted as one of my old Escorts. I'm sure it's not due to the tires alone, but....they're excellent!

If you're lookin' for a winter tire, I highly recommend the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires.

IMO IT IS ALL TIRE.

I had the regular Pilot Sports and they were horrible in snow. Fantastic tires the rest of the time. I am really glad to hear the A/S version is better in inclement weather.

Thanks for the info.

I agree, I drove mine with the F1's the other day in the snow, it was the worst car I have ever owned in the snow. My 01 L with 295's was better.

It must be the tires!
I was down at down at delmar and newstead driving yesterday. The side streets sucked! Lets just say I felt like I was on ice with slicks.
