I think the primary difference is if you drive on the highway vs. a car that rarely ever sees the highway... Highway mileage will always be better than town mileage. Ours rarely ever sees the highway... but we still manage 180 miles per tank.

Wow, lotsa lead feet here. I'm in the 230-250 range usually, and that includes a lot of bumper-to-bumper driving.

I do punch it now and then. Its very hard to do just 75. But even with bursts up to 140-160 on my road trips and setting the cruise at 80 i still get about 280-290 per tank on the highway:) When I do get a little crazy in the streets I can still get about 250+:)

Certain mods will help mileage as well (air induction and exhaust will improve mileage). My car is bone stock...

I dont track it by the tank but last road trip I took I got 25mpg holding a pretty steady 70mph. When I got a bit more radical with frequent bursts to 100mph mileage dropped to 21mpg.

240-260 for me. Mostly highway and stop/go traffic. I get on it now and again... But take it easy mostly.

I've found that keeping the RPM's between 2400-2600 makes for the best mileage.

When I bought my car and was driving it back to CA from Oregon I got 324 miles on a tank. Since then I average around 180 miles. I just cant stay out of the boost. It is just impossible.

Oh and crappy CA 91 octane.:burn:

Yet to EVER see over 200 on a tank full. Ran it to 187 once and filled up with 14.6 gallons. The 187 was taking it easy the whole time. Mine must run so fricken pig rich. I wish for 200 plus!!! Guess some mods could lean it out a bit. :)
