MRT hood strut replacement

ok..my MRT hood struts are 10 years old and fail when it's FL cold.

I've done a cursory thread search and haven't found a replacement strut solution yet.
I have found that the originals are 80# and that Cervini recommends 120# struts.

Admittedly, I haven't even measured the MRT strut lengths yet.
I was just hoping someone has fixed this problem already.

Before I get started....
Q: Have any of you folks found a replacement for the MRT strut yet?

Measure center to center is
12.25”-8.25” 4” stroke 10mm ball

Now just need a stut/shock guy who knows what spec to stay within lengthwise.

looking at:
Strong Arm 4513-W 12"-8.05" 3.95" stroke 110#
There are other Strong Arm struts with same spec but less #

And EBAY China knock-offs of the 4513-W....same specs: 12"-8.05" 3.95" stroke 110#!

mrt strut is 47.2# as pressed into a scale.
so
Strong Arm 4040-W 12"-8.05" 3.95" stroke 54#
Strong Arm 4511-W 12"-8.05" 3.95" stroke 70#

strong arm 4041-W 12-8.05 3.95 80# works like oem!!!

IMO You could easily go to 90-120# shocks and be fine...as I had read somewhere (can't find my source anymore)..also may be needed in colder areas as the # drops considerably with lowering of temperatures.

MRT appears to only sell the complete kits at $90 a pop.
Struts were $15 each with choice of # rating..
