Here is the major nut swinger himself LOL

Yep I said it. A Mach 1 with your mods will get walked by any stock 392 that knows how to press the gas peddle. Most guys are getting 12.7-12.8 before 5K miles and the guys running the faster times are the ones that are broken in

Also mine had similar mods as the one above and went 12.6 with a crappy 60ft at 112

Every video I've seen so far 2011-2012 GTs are dead even with 392 Challegers.

Which should put it pretty damn close to a stock 03-04, maybe a tad quicker.

 Damn that's an impressive list..

I talked to my buddy and found out the 392 has a few hundred miles on it still.. between being a manual (slower) and so few miles I guess I need to shut it and wait to see how it does in a few thousand miles. :)

I do frequent Challengertalk quit abit, and I do know that those challengers with the 392's are pretty damn impressive. And I believe the the #1 guy on that list did not use drag radials. I do know he has a stall converter, at the time he ran that 12.132. I recently saw a post from him, and He said he was waiting on his radials to arrive, and skinnies. Because he wanted to run with drag radials and skinnies to see if he can make the 11's.

Be Dumb about what? How many Mach 1's go 12.20's with bolt ons? You need to re watch that video

4.30 Gears
Passenger Seat Removed
Lighter Battery
Bigs and Littles
K&N Filter

Thats LS1tech stock my friend

He has less power mods then stopsign and still went low 12s... To answer your question alot of machs have been low 12s with boltons.

Actually I am running the Mach with bolt ons and gears for the first time this coming friday. The Mopar nut swingers were saying the 392 is a 12.3-12.4 car stock.

In thier dreams or on the internet, you pick!

I will be at Atlanta Dragway, my Mach has all of 5 bolt ons done to it if you include the short throw shifter. I offered for the Mopar boys to find any stock 392 to run me, didn't hear anything back. Here's the thread What's so challenging about a Challenger? Cross off yet another Dodge - LS1TECH

Yea thats not going to happen..all show no go!!

..really? around her they can't get out of the 13s to say thier life's..13.3 is the best time I have seen in a stock 392..But I guess thats the thing about the internet you can type anything..

I've been a 18yr mustang owner and have had dozens of them. Current ride is a turbo 03 cobra. I've been selling cars for Chrysler Jeep Dodge now for 5 months. This is my first experience with brand X. I must say that the build quality and look are spot on. A lot better from years past. I've driven all the R/T and SRT chargers and challengers from 2011/12. They drive very nice handle well are very comfortable and interior cabin noise is quiet. They fit every body type and size customer I've put in them also. But if you want the best bang for the buck performance and handling the mustang is hands down the winner. If you are getting out of the full tilt performance mode and want a great driving handling looking modern muscle car then I would buy a challenger. My cobra is for sale just due to no time for it and wanting something more stock. Now with that said I'm still having a hard time turning down a new 5.0 over a challenger lol. So with all that said to each there own. All of the big 3 have there high and low points!

Like I said find me a bolt on mach 1 in my area to run me. If it cant beat me it damn sure wont beat a 392. I have Intake, Exhaust, Tune and Im a 6.1, Bolt on Machs run 8.6-8.9 here where Im running 8.2-8.3. Keep in mind the CA tracks are slow and DA is bad.

Me vs a bone stock Vert GT500 this is one of or 2 runs

onebadw , this is CA...Mach1's with bolt-ons wont clip those times out here for the simple fact that CA tracks suck and have poor DA's.

...doesnt mean they cant hit them, its just that me and you will never witness it because of the reason stated above.

i almost wanna call :bs: on some of the 5.0 times that i see posted here for the simple fact that when i go to the track (CA speedway) , bolt-ons 5.0's can only muster up mid 13's @just over 110. imagine what a bolt-on mach1 would run! but then i remember that we're here in Cali and that it has nothing to do with the driver, just the part of the country we're in.

so to recap, i agree that bolt-on machs cant achieve those times, but its because we're in SoCal...in other parts of the country, 12's are an easy goal for said car.

Ive been to Missouri (My 2nd home) tracks also and have never seen it. When my old A4 2000 WS6 went 12.6@112 with full bolt ons my friends mach went 12.74@109 with full bolt ons both on street tires. This was in MO of course. Ive run alot of stangs at irwindale, 5.0's, GT500s, 03 Cobras and Machs the only ones that give me trouble are the 5.0's. Even then not by much
