Hey guys, went through some pictures and found some old ones. I thought I'd share some from the day I bought it, to now it's current state. My wife came up with the name "lady in red" and it kinda stuck.

I bought it in April of 2010. I paid 19,500 dollars and it just hit 20k miles. It was basically Stock except for fr500 wheels, k&n intake, and a upr h pipe.

Here is the day after I bought it.

Engine bay was really dirty.

After a little cleaning the next day.

A couple weeks later I added Bassani exhaust and subframe connectors.

001-13.jpg

Probably within 4-5 weeks of owning it, I added a jlt intake, billetflow idlers, and a 2.8 upper. Had it tuned, made 455/479 sae.

I didn't really like the looks of the fr500 wheels, so I went with saleen replicas. Also added h&r race springs, mm cc plates, ftbr aluminum diff bushings, and a lpw cover. I had a mustang shop do the install. At the time Stock cover was leaking.

I also installed a gords heat exchanger myself.

And found out my fpdc was maxed. So I added a bap.

In 2014 I paid the car off. Then is when the mods really began. I bought a gen 1 tvs blower and a fore level 1 return system. My plan were only to run pump gas. I did the blower swap and fuel system all on my own.

Progress:

Then it was time to start the fuel mods...

I ended breaking the filler neck.

Pic after it was completed! I was a proud guy. My wife was in San Diego visiting a friend, this is the picture I sent her.

About a year later 2015, I bought some ARH headers and had them ceramic coated.

IMAG0173_zpsku2qgyec.jpg

I had the well known shop APS do the header install. Maybe if it were today I'd try to do it myself.

This same year I contacted Steve and bought Mach 5 wheels.

I ended up going back to a rai.
IMAG0688_zpswrwa0bzw.jpg

I believe it was a year later 2016 I contacted Kevin aka 04sleeper about wanting to get remote tuned and switch over to e85. This meant I had to drop the fuel tank again....

I never thought I'd run e85. So I added aem 320e pumps, bigger feed line, and id1000 injectors.

IMAG0677_zpsmg8xveru.jpg

IMAG0673_zpsz00jtahn.jpg

IMAG0672_zpsbbivuy1c.jpg

At this time I moved the regulator in the fender and went dead head.
IMAG0591_zpsibffljhv.jpg

After everything was dialed in, I started getting tire rub on passenger side fender.

IMAG1251_zpsqtmug081.jpg

So I decided to roll the fenders. It took quite awhile, but slowly got it.

IMAG1013_zpswmcohf4a.jpg

IMAG1017_zpsxocovusp.jpg

I also added amber tail lights that I bought from a member Blueline.

IMAG0147_zpshjm2jkjw.jpg

IMAG0164_zpsk3hbosfg.jpg

IMAG0457_zpspvs4hiez.jpg

In 2017 I swapped out the Bassani tips for some SLP rolled tips.

This past summer, 2018 I purchased some wrinkle black valve covers. I haven't installed them yet.

And this past October 2018 I did my first clutch job. I had a promotion clutch in there previously. I had the shop mentioned in my thread install that one.

I'd really like to thank all the members on svtp that provide awesome help and knowledge. A lot of this couldn't have been done on my own without the help of you guys.

Lady In Red is stunning, Brady. It looks lots better today than the day you got it. Nice mods and nice setup. Nice to see the progression. I really like Redfire paint. As a matter of fact, when I test drove a Genesis G70 on Thursday they had a loaded Sport edition in the showroom that was Havana Red. I loved it. It's actually very close to your Redfire paint.

Your car looks great, it's come along way since the day you got it. Your work looks really nice and clean and Looks like it was professionally done. You should be proud of your accomplishments. Good luck with it moving forward, now get out there and enjoy the heck out of it.

Very nice ride! Those wheels & springs woke up the look.
I really like Redfire, just haven't had one yet. Yet.
Thanks! Wheels and springs definitely did help! Redfire seems to be a love it or hate it.

Thanks Bob and that's awesome!

I appreciate the kind words. Doing the work by myself does make me proud. I wish I could drive it now, but it's winter.

Thank you!
Looks good. Thank you for sharing. How does the ram air intake do with high boost?
Thanks. The rai seems to be fine on higher boost. I just like the simplicity of it. And I mounted my fuel regulator where the air filter once was.

Thanks. I only managed 160 city miles, then it had to be put in winter storage. The driveability is super smooth. Only thing I'm having a hard time getting use to is the clutch releases about an inch off the floor.

Very cool. Good to see more members doing their own work. Really pays off in the end and it’s much more satisfying being able to say you did it yourself. Next thing you know your cobra friends are going to be asking for your help. You’re also saving money in labor that you can put towards other mods. Oh and I did my ARH headers myself in the garage and I strongly thought about calling for a flat bed and dropping it off at a shop. PITA job haha! Nice work man!
