My first 1/4 Mile times...

I'm not very happy with these times, track prep sucked at Cordova this weekend....I was spinning all the way through the 330' mark....needless to say I need to find somewhere that I can hook up...13's are in my sight.

Ended up beating Blackgeetee it was close his 14.231 to my 14.224... He was traping at about 99.8Mph or so...Ill let him give you his results.....I think I can still get my 60' times down another tenth.....my 1/4Mph should put me in the high 13's if I hook right...

GR8WHITE....Im not there yet, but I need some better track prep...I might go out to Route66 Raceway next friday and run there, the track is alot better......than we will see how much I have to work on....:beer:

Well unfortunately my best timeslip must have blew out the window on the way home. I found about ten slips but I couldn't find the best one. That's my crappy luck I guess. I ran a best of 14.2XX @99.98mph. My best 60' was a pathetic 2.2XX but I was consistantly running 2.4's. Ironically my best run was my last one and I had a guest in the car. Figure that out?

I now realize I have a bad dead spot between 2-2.5rpm so I need to slip it out around 3200 instead of dumping at 2-2.5 like I have been. When I dump it at that rpm it spins just a bit, but then it bogs. I believe with better weather, better track, and my new found launching strategy, I should hopefully be down to around 13.6-13.8ish.:burnout:

What's all done on that GM to get mid 14's?
I hope to be there the end of summer with the bird. Right now I would guess I'm at about 14.9 or so. I have to hit the track SOON to check that out...in a week or two.

SoHowCome I coudnt tell if that was a Marauder in your sig or not. Is your GM totally stock? Or close? Some of those guys on Jersey Vics are running pretty fast now. Have you checked that site out?
