I hope you like the new edge chassis because I obviously have something for the new edge mustang. I grew up with this chassis and have always had a thing for them. Ive been eyeing a custom built coyote swapped S197 in the near future, I also like the s550 chassis as well but I am not willing to make the jump to own one yet with these prices. For now this is what I am running, hope you enjoy.
For those that wanna keep up with my latest build/track content my IG is: @Eddie_Drift

Anyways here is 4 of the new edges I currently own and what I do with them.
My laser red 01 cobra with a terminator swap, whipple, cams, e85 etc. I use the car for Road course time attack, Auto-x, Drifting fun events/demos, and some street use. Its has the works as far as suspension, full road course suspension depending what set of wheels i use, its usually sitting on squared 335's, or squared 315's and have used 315/345's staggered. This car was making 640 whp / 606 tq. The new setup is waiting for a tune, should be in the 800 whp ballpark.

This one is my 01 Bullitt I use for drifting competition and demos. Car was stripped down, caged, tubed and painted, has all fiberglass body panels etc.
Built 4.6 with ported navi heads, cams with a Vortech JT trim on e85, 700 whp with an IRS swap. I crashed this car back in march but I fixed it and changed the livery up when I reintroduced it at the Fabulous Fords forever show this past spring. This car has had 3 different liveries, people always think its a different car when I bring it out/post it, its the same car though.

My Blue 01 cobra convertible. Just boltons, suspension and an angle kit. Its basically my street car i can take to the track. Currently rebuilding the motor since I let my friend use it at a drift demo and the motor had a rod bearing failure. the plan is a forged motor with a vortech soon.

Last but not least. 99 GT with a Ford Racing 3v crate motor swap and an IRS swap. I use this car for Road course, especially for full 20-25 min sessions something I cant do with my red cobra. This car has 340 whp/ 350tq so its got enough power to have some fun out there and still hold its own and some against the newer gen muscle cars..

That’s pretty damn cool. I know I will get flamed but I liked the new edge better then the 05-09. The 10s and above were beautiful again.

totally agree w this other than the 07-09 gt500.

Wasn't your red Cobra featured in a video of This vs That which was just recently posted on here racing against a Maserati V6 swapped BRZ?

The red 01 is sweet!!! Very nice.
That is definitely my favorite of the four. That is one heck of an awesome New Edge Mustang stable. I'm more than impressed!!

Thanks for posting the two short videos. Now, we need some longer ones.....of the red '01. Maybe one of the last one, too. ;)

@Eddie_Drift - Video a few are asking about. I'm going with a no unless your pictures are older and the video is the most recent updates:
The red one is badass, saw it on hoonigan

Lol everyone thinks its the same car but its not. I call it my twin because the cars are very similar top to bottom even setups, a lot of people always send it to me asking. It is unique like mine and I've been following that build for awhile as well since we both track ours. Trying to catch a track day with them hopefully soon as I think it would be rad to have both cars on track at the same time. I wanted to actually go on the hoonigan this vs that with this car. I may try to get on the show with the drift car since they already had a red cobra lol.

Pretty cool that are TWO of these awesome track red Cobras Eddie. I can see a number of differences just on the front end. And IMO yours is the nicer looking of the two.

I love the stable you have. I also have an affinity for the new edge. I had a 2001 GT I owned form 2012-2018ish) procharged @ 440/400. I wrecked it on my way to work one morning and ended up putting all the guts (drivetrain, suspension, etc) in a 1987 GT hatchback. It was OK. I missed the New Edge so much I bought the dream New Egde in the my current 2003 Cobra. I was talking with my dad a few days ago, I really want to find a Azure Blue Mach 1 and own it. I wouldn’t mind another 01-04 GT coupe to drive around either.

The red 01 is sweet!!! Very nice.
Thank you its definitely my favorite of the bunch
Sick collection.

I too will always have a soft spot for that body style.
Yeah growing up around Foxbodys and sn95,s when i was in high school these were the mustangs to have. my first new edge was a 99 cobra at 19 years old, my friends silver 03 stomped my 99 so i went out and got a redfire 03 too even up the odds and holy hell what an improvement it was lol
That is definitely my favorite of the four. That is one heck of an awesome New Edge Mustang stable. I'm more than impressed!!

Thank you sir
The red cobra definitely pulls all the attention of the cars in my stable. I just did cams and head studs so now im waiting for my tuner to get back from vacation so we can get it done. My drift car and 3v swap GT sound really good because they are cammed, I regretted not doing cams on the red cobra sooner. Now its checked off the list and i cant wait to hear this one.
Yeah ive been lagging on video content, I get to the track and I just worry about car prep like tire pressures etc, I dont wanna bother messing with a camera, bad enough I gotta fiddle with the lap timer to make sure its working properly, I just wanna drive. I am looking into the Solo 2 with the smarty cam setup though. You just put it in the car and drive, it turns on and records without having to touch it but that setup its $1500 for everything.
Yeah there are a number of difference between our cars when you start to look at them. 2 properly setup track oriented whipple cobras on a track though is a nightmare for other cars on track lol!

Yeah my dream car was the Y2k cobra R back when I was in high school. Then the Terminator came out, the aggressiveness look of that car, I eventually was able to get one at a young age and damn was it fun. Mach 1,s are fun as well, same thing they have their own aggresive styling that sets it off like the terminator
No flames from me but I’m biased. I love the New Edge. My second favorite body style is the 13-14s.
I honestly like them all from fox to S550, but the new edge obviously my personal favorite. But ive been eyeing a custom built coyote swapped 07 s197 for a daily.
